Sharenting or, enough already!

A quick share with you this afternoon of an interview I did with ABC Perth on sharenting.*

To listen just press play…..

What’s your view? Do you think sharing images of your child is OK or a big no-no?  Do you worry about the digital footprint you are creating for them? And yes, I do realise the irony of sharing a post on over-sharing along with an image of me and my children….

* The urban dictionary defines “sharenting” as: When parents share too much of their children’s information, pictures and private moments online, mostly on Facebook.

Until next time….

My husband said this to me yesterday as his new director at work was showing the photos of his kids to the group. He think it’s wierd. I don’t go overboard on fb but every now and again I post them because family members want to see them. I also think capturing those moments is really special. If I look back on my pics it brings back lovely memories and I don’t feel so down. Each to their own I say but if people are scared about privacy I wouldn’t be the type who posts each day or every second something is happening. On my blog All Things Mum I don’t disclose any personal details about our house or my full name. Head on over. I’m also having a Giveaway.
