A Parliament of Owls for under $50…

April 30, 2013 by Caro&Co 9 Comments

IMG_4674The wonderful gang at Target have given me another $40 voucher to give away, so when Grace and I went shopping in regional NSW recently, we just had to stop off at the Target store in Dubbo to see what they had on offer.  And then came the most surreal experience. You see, I’ve been having the biggest love-in with owls of late. I see them everywhere. Whilst Grace tried to steer me (again) to the girls section, I resolutely ignored her and wandered into the homewares section.

Staring up at me from the most wonderful array of crockery, glassware and cutlery were these beauties.  Aren’t they divine? And priced at just between $3.50 – $6.00 each, they are totally affordable. They come in a range of colours and sizes. For under $50 you could buy yourself a complete set, which, um, I have done.  Here are some other owl-themed products you might like.  To win the voucher, simply leave a comment on this post.  Winner will be drawn at random on Tuesday 7th May. THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED.

That’s it, I’ve got to get off there soon. It can add to the small collection I have, mostly given as gifts since I played an Owl in a ballet as a very young girl. Hopefully they aren’t just in Country Target.

Oh if only we had some more Owls in our own Parliament….I just love how Target is evolving into a very cool shop.

Might have to go and buy some of those blue bowls with printed insides. Love those…..Might have to smuggle them into the house so the other house can’t say “more bowls?”

Quite a fan of the printed bowls! Target really is stepping up in the home department. So cheap too!
