Kids and their hidey holes…

Child hiding in a tree, tree climbing

I love this photo.

I took it at our farm over the weekend.

I crept up on my son who was relaxing in the tree (an ornamental cherry by the way), before he resumed a game of ‘skip’ with our dog.

I love the mix of nature, relaxation and child.

Does your child have a favourite place to hide/relax?

Until next time…

Magical photo. I love how much easier it is for children to relax when with nature compared to elsewhere. Freedom to play as they wish.

    I love this!!
Climbing trees is the start of an intimate relationship between climber and tree. Being supported by a great bough we get lost in both giant and miniature worlds of trees and the creatures that dwell in them.

This is very cool – our mango tree is just getting big enough for the kids to climb – we have no other trees in the yard so they climb the cubby house and up on top of the swing set – kids love climbing. 🙂
